Our men’s ministry focuses upon discipleship taking place at a number of different levels. Our goal is that men would come to salvation and would grow to reflect the character of Christ as they learn from, and are transformed by, his word.
Our goal is that every man in the church is involved in personal discipleship in some way. To this end, we encourage participation in interactive discipleship relationships throughout the week.
Men's Discipleship Group
Meets weekly on Thursday mornings from 6:30-7:30am at Panera Bread on North Peters Road or Saturday mornings at 9:00am at Danan Leab's house. Our first resource for study will be the book The Masculine Mandate by Rick Phillips. We plan to cover 1-2 chapters each week. To join, please sign up here.
Shepherds Institute
Shepherds Institute exists to equip men in the church to be servant leaders with the necessary biblical, theological, and practical skills to teach and lead with excellence in the church and at home. This focus on biblical thinking, philosophy of ministry, and personal sanctification prepares men to better love Christ and His church. This ministry also serves as a formative step on the path toward elder qualification. For more information, please visit the Shepherds Institute website.
