Membership Affirmation
All members of CBC must affirm our core beliefs, as stated in our Membership Affirmation. You can read the Crossway Bible Church Membership Affirmation here.
Membership Class
Attending our membership class is the first step in seeking membership at Crossway Bible Church. It's also a great way to meet others while you learn more about the church. Our next class will be held on August 13th, 20th, and 27th. You can sign up here.
To be notified when the next membership class is scheduled, please fill out this form.
Once you have completed the Membership Class, you may apply for membership by completing the following steps in order:
1. Complete and Submit the Membership Application, and Review the Supplemental Documents Below
2. Schedule a Membership Interview
Please email your available times to info@crosswayknoxville.org to schedule an interview with 1-2 church elders. Membership interviews usually last 45-60 minutes per person and are conducted at the home of the membership candidate, if possible.
3. Submit Your Written Testimony
A written salvation testimony of 750-1000 words describing:
- Your life before Christ
- Your conversion to Christ
- Your life since conversion
Please submit your testimony, along with a current photograph, to info@crosswayknoxville.org.
The elders will review your testimony and discuss anything further with you before proceeding to the final step.
If you have not been baptized as a believer, we will plan for you to be baptized at this step in the process.
4. Public Affirmation by the Church
Your testimony will be sent out to the church for a two-week feedback period. With the church's affirmation, you will be presented publicly as a new member during one of our Sunday worship services.
